The integrated class of the Vuk Karadžić school is a place where a silent but heroic struggle for the progress of every child is waged every day. UCB Bank's donation of 10.000 euros for the purchase of equipment adapted to the needs of these children is not just material assistance, it is a message that the community sees their efforts and that they are not alone in this struggle.
"Our desire was to provide conditions in which every child, regardless of the obstacles they face, will feel the joy of learning and playing. We chose Berane for the finale of this project because we believe that investing in inclusion and children with developmental disabilities is the most noble act that an institution can support. From north to south, each of the six stations of this project had the same goal, which is to leave a lasting mark and encourage others to take similar actions."
"This is not just the end of one project, but the beginning of a new stage in which we want humanity to be the standard, not the exception. The smiles of children in Berane are the most beautiful reward we could have received for the end of this project," said Nikola Vujošević, Member of the Bank's Board of Directors.
“Today, our school received a donation of 10.000 euros from Universal Capital Bank, which is intended for an integrated department for children with special educational needs. This donation represents significant support for efforts to provide quality education and support to all students, regardless of their individual needs. The funds will be used to improve educational resources, as well as to organize various activities and programs that will help children with special educational needs to develop their skills and potential. We believe that this donation will contribute to creating an environment that encourages diversity and allows our students to feel supported and empowered.
We would like to thank Universal Capital Bank for this generous donation and for their dedication and support in the education and development of children. This cooperation is of great importance to our community and we look forward to future projects that we will implement together. Thank you to everyone who is involved in this process and who supports the mission to provide the best possible support to our students”, said Vesna Mojašević, director of the Vuk Karadžić Elementary School in Berane.
The donation in Berane represents the finale of a marathon of humanity that has lasted for the past few months. Through the project "Acts that are Recognized", Universal Capital Banka has made a total of six donations throughout Montenegro, focusing on health, education, the environment and socially vulnerable categories.
With this gesture, UCB once again confirmed that social responsibility is not just an item in the annual report, but a sincere need to contribute to the society in which we operate. As the curtain falls on the "Acts that are Recognized" project, new materials for work, modernized premises and, most importantly, a sense of belonging and appreciation for those who need it most remain in Berane.
In the town below Jasikovac, humanity is written in the most beautiful letters today, reminding us all that the greatness of a collective is not measured by capital, but by the number of hands it is willing to lend.
