With the desire to contribute to improving the living conditions and daily lives of children, the company Knjaz Miloš Montenegro presented a donation worth 21.000 euros to child and social welfare institutions throughout Montenegro.
The donation is intended for Public Institution "Mladost" Children's Home Bijela, the only institution in Montenegro for the care of children without parental care and children whose development is hindered due to family circumstances, then Day care center for children with developmental disabilities and people with disabilities in Podgorica, Center for children and youth with developmental disabilities "Tisa" in Bijelo Polje, including Resource Center for Hearing and Speech "Dr Peruta Ivanović" in Kotor, which provide support for more than 300 children and young people.
"As part of the community in which we operate, we strive to continuously contribute to its development. With this donation, we want to support children and young people, as well as the work of the institutions that are their pillars of support, so that the spaces in which they live are even more pleasant and beautiful," said Kristina Glišić on behalf of the company Knjaz Miloš Montenegro.
The funds will be directed towards the purchase of necessary equipment and infrastructure improvements, which will further improve the quality of the beneficiaries' stay in these institutions.
"For the children growing up in our Home, every bit of attention and support from the community is of great importance, and that is why we are very grateful for the donation. Thanks to this donation, we will improve the living conditions, and we will direct the funds to the reconstruction of the bathrooms in the living space, in order to provide the children with an even warmer and more pleasant environment to grow up in."", said the director of the Public Institution "Mladost" Children's Home, Marela Savić.
She also expressed her gratitude Olga Rovčanin, director of the Day Care Center in Podgorica:
"Our mission is to give every child the opportunity to develop their potential, and this kind of support is a great incentive for our work.". Thanks to the donation, we will improve the living conditions of the beneficiaries. which implies necessary repairs in the residential part of the building, "the purchase of furniture, white goods, household appliances and other necessary equipment, which will further facilitate everyday life and contribute to the better inclusion of our users."
