Representatives of the Employment Agency of Montenegro and Coca-Cola HBC Montenegro have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation through which, through the initiative "Coca-Cola Support to Youth", they will jointly implement programs aimed at empowering young people and facilitating their inclusion in the labor market.
The memorandum was signed by the Director of the Employment Service of Montenegro, David Perčobić, and the Director of Coca-Cola HBC Montenegro, Velimir Radojević. The goal of the partnership is to strengthen personal and professional capacities, through the acquisition of knowledge and skills important for career development and greater competitiveness in the modern business environment.
The cooperation envisages the organization of free educational workshops, with a special focus on the north of Montenegro, where the youth unemployment rate is higher. Through these activities, participants will have the opportunity to develop soft and business skills, improve communication and presentation skills, but also gain practical knowledge important for their professional development and easier employment. The dates and locations of the workshops will be announced in the coming period.
David Perčobić, Director of the Employment Service of Montenegro, emphasized that connecting institutions and the private sector is of key importance for empowering young people, especially when it comes to acquiring practical knowledge and skills that the modern labor market requires.
"The cooperation between the Employment Service of Montenegro and Coca-Cola HBC Montenegro represents an important step towards creating new opportunities for young people in our country. Through education and practical workshops, we want to provide young people with knowledge and skills that will help them be more competitive on the labor market, more confident in their abilities and more prepared for professional challenges. It is especially important to us that the focus will also be on young people from the north of Montenegro, because we believe that every young person deserves an equal chance for development and success," said Perčobić.
Velimir Radojević, Director of Coca-Cola HBC Montenegro, pointed out that they have been empowering new generations through this initiative for years, and that they see cooperation with the Employment Service of Montenegro as an important part of joint efforts aimed at supporting new generations on their professional path.
"It is particularly important to us that the Employment Service of Montenegro, ten years ago, when we started the Coca-Cola Support for Youth initiative, recognized the importance of investing in the knowledge, skills and potential of young people and already then provided institutional support for this project. We believe that young people should be given not only knowledge, but also encouragement to recognize their own possibilities, develop self-confidence and actively build their future in Montenegro. That is why this cooperation represents a long-term investment in people, their ideas and the development of the community as a whole." said Radojevic.
As a reminder, the "Coca-Cola Support for Youth" initiative is an integral part of Coca-Cola HBC's socially responsible activities and has been implemented in all markets where the company operates since 2016. To date, this initiative has reached more than 1,1 million young people at the Group level, while in Montenegro more than 6.000 young people have been empowered through the initiative.
