The scholarship program is part of a broader corporate social responsibility initiative, with the aim of providing support to talented Montenegrin students and young scientists who wish to further their education in the country and abroad.
Taking into account the needs of students, Jugopetrol is awarding three scholarships for full-time postgraduate studies this year, covering tuition fees and, under certain conditions, partial support for living expenses. Two scholarships are intended for studies at universities in Montenegro, while the third supports studies abroad, at universities located in countries across Europe, North America and Australia.
The scholarship program was originally established by HELLENiQ ENERGY in 2013 in Greece and is being implemented by Jugopetrol AD for the second time, enabling students to advance their knowledge and achieve significant academic and professional results.
Jugopetrol CEO Vasilis Panagopoulos emphasized the importance of this program: "Giving scholarships to young people is an investment in the future, not only of the company, but also of the entire society. We believe that by supporting education, we create the foundations for sustainable development, innovation, and better opportunities for generations to come."
Applications for scholarships are open until May 30, 2026.
