The action brought together a large number of citizens, young people and students who, through their participation, sent an important message about the importance of environmental protection, recycling and biodiversity conservation. All participants who brought five plastic bottles and/or cans received a flower seedling, symbolically linking recycling with nature conservation and the creation of greener urban spaces.

Celebrating World Bee Day is particularly important because it raises awareness about the role of bees and other pollinators in preserving ecosystems and producing food. Through the "PET for a Flower" campaign, the organizers wanted to highlight the connection between responsible waste management, nature conservation, and the protection of plant and animal species that play a key role in the environment.

"By planting flowers, we create a space that allows bees to find food and continue their key role in pollinating plants, thus directly contributing to the preservation of biodiversity and the creation of greener urban environments. As a socially responsible company, UNIQA, through this action, supports initiatives that contribute to environmental preservation and raising awareness of the importance of joint care for nature. We believe that it is through actions like this that we can inspire the community to together create a more beautiful, greener and more sustainable environment for every being on the planet," said Neda Savičić, brand, communications and digital media specialist at UNIQA insurance.

During the event, volunteers and representatives of organizations spoke with citizens about the importance of developing ecological habits, recycling, and active community involvement in nature protection, while the large turnout of young people and students demonstrated the growing awareness of environmental issues among new generations.

At the end of the campaign, the organizers said that they were particularly pleased with the large turnout of citizens, young people and students, because it is precisely this kind of community involvement that shows that awareness of environmental preservation and the importance of sustainable habits is growing year after year.
