On the occasion of World Environment Day, Novo Nordisk, together with partners from Zelenilo doo Podgorica, planted a sapling in front of the Health Center in Pobrežje as a symbol of attention to the community, health and the future.
In a place where people come every day seeking help, support and care, a new tree will grow from today.
Representatives of the Novo Nordisk company said that social responsibility does not only mean doing business, but also leaving a positive mark on the community.
"We hope that one day this tree will provide shade for someone waiting for a check-up, someone rushing home, or a child passing this way."
Zelenilo doo Podgorica emphasized that each new seedling contributes to a better and healthier living environment for citizens, while the Health Center in Pobrežje emphasized the symbolism of this initiative right in front of the health institution.
The event took place in an atmosphere of togetherness and a simple but powerful message - that caring for people and caring for nature always go together.
