Montenegrin Commercial Bank, in cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and with the support of the European Union, has launched a credit line that brings simpler access to financing to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, with more room for development.
This line focuses on what businesses need most: speed, flexibility and security. Loans enable investments in development, new technologies, capacity expansion and energy efficiency, with a fixed interest rate, longer repayment terms and without the need for additional collateral.
This is a program that directly responds to the needs of the domestic economy, especially those who want to make a breakthrough, but have so far encountered limitations in accessing financing.
Special focus is placed on segments that carry the development potential of the Montenegrin economy:
- Women-owned businesses
- Businesses owned by young people under 35 years old
- Agriculture and agribusiness
- Tourism
- Business from Podgorica
- Green projects that reduce costs and improve sustainability
Loans of up to 300.000 euros are available to users, with a repayment period of up to 60 months and the possibility of a grace period of up to 6 months for the agriculture and tourism sectors. Repayment is adjusted to business cycles, through monthly or seasonal installments, with simplified collateral, bills of exchange and collection authorizations.
Additional information on criteria and conditions is available through CKB teams for working with small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as via e-mail address: mse@ckb.me.
Through this initiative, CKB continues to support entrepreneurs who want to grow, develop and invest in a sustainable future.
