On June 12, Portonovi Marina hosted the "Four Seasons I", the first ship of the Four Seasons Yachts company, which made its first visit to the Adriatic as part of its inaugural Mediterranean voyage.
The inclusion of Portonovi in the ship’s inaugural Mediterranean itinerary represents a significant recognition for the destination and confirmation of Montenegro’s growing position on the map of global ultra-luxury nautical tourism. The arrival of the “Four Seasons I” further confirms Portonovi Marina’s reputation as one of the leading marinas for superyachts and luxury vessels on the Adriatic.
During their stay in Portonovo, guests had the opportunity to explore the resort and the Bay of Kotor, experiencing the natural beauty, cultural heritage and Mediterranean lifestyle that this part of Montenegro is known for, before continuing their journey along the Adriatic coast.
Four Seasons I is the first vessel from Four Seasons Yachts and a new chapter for one of the world's most recognizable luxury hospitality brands. Designed as an extension of the Four Seasons philosophy of hospitality at sea, the vessel combines the exclusivity of private yachting with the personalized service for which the brand is recognized worldwide.
With just 95 luxurious accommodations, Four Seasons I is designed to provide guests with a high level of privacy and comfort, with an almost unique guest-to-crew ratio. The ship was developed in collaboration with renowned studios Tillberg Design of Sweden and Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, creative director Prosper Assouline, and Italian shipyard Fincantieri. Its premiere coincides with the 65th anniversary of the Four Seasons brand, symbolically connecting the company's rich heritage with a new direction in the experiential yachting segment.
Commenting on the visit, Portonovi Marina Manager Novica Radojičić said:
"Welcoming the 'Four Seasons I' to Portonova Marina represents an important moment for our destination and further confirmation of the growing international recognition of both the marina and Montenegro as a whole. The inclusion of Portonova in this yacht's Adriatic itinerary reflects the high standard of our infrastructure, quality of service and overall destination offering. We are proud to have the opportunity to host one of the most notable new names in the world of luxury hospitality and yachting and look forward to welcoming 'Four Seasons I' back during the season."
Portonovi Marina holds the prestigious international accreditations Platinum Status 5 Gold Anchor, International Clean Marina and Superyacht Ready, which confirm its commitment to top-notch service, operational excellence and sustainable development. The marina also has approval to accommodate international passenger ships, further expanding its capacity and strengthening its position among the leading nautical centers in the region.
The June 12 arrival was the first of four planned calls by the Four Seasons I to Portonovi Marina during June and July. The vessel's continued arrivals further confirm Portonovi's appeal among the most prestigious names in the world of luxury yachting, and also contribute to positioning Montenegro as one of the most desirable destinations for sophisticated Mediterranean travel.
