Chair Airlines establishes direct flights between Zurich and Tirana

The new Zurich-Tirana route will operate three times a week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays – providing passengers with more options for travel between Albania and Switzerland.

On the occasion of the establishment of the new route, the inaugural flight was welcomed at Tirana International Airport with a traditional and symbolic ceremony marking the beginning of the new partnership.

Chair Airlines is a Swiss airline specializing in tourist traffic, headquartered in Zurich, operating a modern fleet of Airbus A319 and Airbus A320 aircraft. By including Tirana in its network of destinations, the company further strengthens its presence in the Balkans and offers passengers another direct flight connection between Switzerland and Albania.

Piervittorio Farabbi, Chief Operating Officer of Tirana International Airport, stated:
