In just one week, the conference "Sustainable Leadership: From Decision to Impact" attracted more than 200 participants, exceeding the originally planned capacity of 150. The great interest led to an expansion of the capacity, and the conference will be held on September 24 at the Hilton Hotel in Podgorica.

Participants include decision-makers from the public and private sectors, representatives of international organizations, the academic and financial community, and the civil sector, as well as experts from Montenegro and the region, students, and young professionals interested in sustainable development topics.

At a time when sustainability is increasingly influencing investments, economic development, and company competitiveness, the focus of the conference will be on how the principles of sustainable development are transformed into concrete decisions, investments, and business models.

The program features six keynote lectures that look at sustainability from different angles - from the psychology of leadership and green investments, through sustainable architecture and women's economic empowerment, to Generation Z and digital solutions for communities.

Important issues of sustainable development will also be discussed through five panel discussions dedicated to responsible business, partnerships for a sustainable future, Montenegro's strategic path towards more sustainable development, energy transition and circular economy. Representatives of international organizations, state institutions, academic, business and financial communities, civil society and the professional public will participate in the discussions.

For the first time in Montenegro, the conference will be organized according to the Zero Food Waste concept, through which excess food generated during the event will be responsibly directed, instead of ending up as waste. In this way, some of the principles discussed during the program will be applied in practice, showing that sustainability does not have to remain just a topic of panels and lectures, but can become an integral part of the way events are organized.

The program will conclude with a live podcast "Sustainability, Without Corporate Language", dedicated to how to bring complex topics closer to people without professional and corporate jargon, while the segment "Sustainable Flavors: Wine Empire Brings Wines That Tell a Story" will show that sustainability can be a part of experience, tradition and culture, just as much as business decisions.

The conference "Sustainable Leadership: From Decision to Impact" is organized by Vijesti, and will be held at the Hilton Hotel in Podgorica, with the support of the Ministry of Energy and Mining, the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Northern Development, the Media Development Investment Fund (MDIF), MK Group and Menzies Aviation.

The conference partners are Eco-fond, National Tourism Organization of Montenegro, NLB Bank AD Podgorica, Jugopetrol, Coca-Cola HBC Montenegro, Sistem MNE, HiPP, NU Energy, CROSS-REIS, L-DEMA and Boka Verde. The conference program is available at link.
