Dr. Vuk Kadić, holder of the "Movement Forward - For Podgorica and Family" list, sent a message to all citizens ahead of the extraordinary elections on September 29, expressing firm belief that the Movement will be part of the next Assembly of the Capital City and represent the most pleasant surprise of the election.
"There is no wasted or wasted vote in elections. Every vote not cast for friends or those you know is a wasted vote. Every vote that is given under pressure or blackmail is a wasted vote. That is why it is important that all citizens come out and vote freely and according to their conscience", says Kadić and adds: "We do not accept the story that some are defending the state, because we heard that until August 30, 2020. We fought for changes, and unfortunately we were replaced. Both sides tell us that the state is being defended in the local elections in Podgorica. They say that if the city is not theirs, it will be a disaster. Well, I guess the city is also ours, to us ordinary residents of Podgorica."
Dr. Vuk Kdić points out that many topics from the Move Forward program have been taken over by their political opponents, which shows how relevant their solutions are to the problems of Podgorica. "Subsidizing children's stay in kindergartens, preventing reckless driving, especially in front of schools, establishing the "Budućnost" Sports Association, direct election of the mayor and the fight against party recruitment are just some of our proposals. However, there are so many problems in Podgorica, as well as solutions in our program, that there simply wasn't enough time to rewrite everything," he says with a touch of irony.
Kadić emphasizes that the most important thing for Pokret Naprijed is to solve concrete problems, and not to dwell on empty stories, as has happened so far. "Other parties and coalitions did not deal with the essential problems of Podgorica, but imposed national issues that have nothing to do with local elections, further dividing the already divided people."
Kadić called on citizens to vote for the list "Dr. Vuk Kadić - Forward Movement - For Podgorica and family"" are for the opposition. When there are not enough places in kindergartens - there are none for those who are for the government and for those who are for the opposition. When the water pressure is weak - it is weak both for those who are for the government and for those who are for the opposition. When drivers are arrogant on the streets - they are arrogant towards everyone, regardless of whether they are for the government or the opposition. This is why our campaign was positive, and during it we pointed out the key problems of our city, as well as the solutions to those problems.
Kadić reminds that the Movement was founded on August 11, but that in a short time it became a movement with clearly defined goals: solving problems and creating a city where family comes first.
"Our goal is to make Podgorica a home for all of us, a city where our fellow citizens and their families will not be forgotten as before", concluded Kadić and invited everyone to go to the polls on September 29 and circle list number 2 - "Dr Vuk Kadić - Forward Movement - For Podgorica and family".
