Budva, the pearl of the Mediterranean, suffered a series of scandals and abuses by the champions of the former regime and numerous organized criminal groups, which ruled Budva. The series of arrests of several mayors began in 2010. They were the film actions of arresting those who, instead of being the first in terms of the sacrifice made for the city they serve, were the first in terms of stuffing millions into the pockets of tycoon companies, godfathers, friends and local powerful.
KULJACA AND ASSOCIATES CAUSED 820 THOUSAND EUROS OF DAMAGE TO THE CITY
The abuse of official position and the criminal association of the then DPS leadership with Kuljač at the head, led to damage of up to 820 thousand euros to the budget of Budva, and to the benefit of the tycoon fund called "Zavala".
RAĐENOVIĆ ADMITTED TO MULTI-MILLION MALVERSIONS
Kuljača's successor, Lazar Rađenović, admitted that he damaged the municipal coffers by several million euros through malpractices in the cases of Košljun, TQ Plaza, the Jaz plateau, the "WTE" and "Kopirajt" projects, which is just one of the examples where the interests of Budva were placed under the feet of tycoon-political combinatorics.
CHIEF MAROVIĆ OVERCOME EVERYTHING - CAUSED DAMAGE OF TENS OF MILLION EUROS
It seems that the political disciples of the Budva sheriff and the founder of the criminal organization, Svetozar Marović, are far behind him, so Mr. Marović admitted in the court proceedings that he was at the head of the criminal group that is involved in the construction projects of the Boulevard, the road in the village of Krapina and various others malfeasance damaged Budva by tens of millions of euros - which is the money stolen from the pockets of the citizens of Budva, enough for capital investments to flourish in this municipality.
AND BOŽOVIĆ IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF PREDECESSORS
Although the first democratic president of the municipality of Budva, Dragan Krapović, showed what it means to lead the municipality with honor, his successors did not understand that the citizens of Budva wanted real changes. The mayor of the municipality, Milo Božović, was also arrested, as claimed by the SDT, due to reasonable suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of creating a criminal organization and three criminal offenses of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs.
KAŽANEGRA STANIŠIĆ: I'M READY TO SLAM THE DOORS ON THE POWERFUL!
My dear fellow citizens,
I stand before you proud of the opportunity to fight for a better Budva, but also ashamed of everything my predecessors have done to you and our city. Unfortunately, instead of serving you honorably and humbly, many have used this function for personal interests, behaving like sheriffs who have been given permission to endlessly drain all the resources of our most beautiful city.
Therefore, I accept if someone from our political competition does not have the courage to oppose the local powerful, that is why I tell them that I am and that I am here!
I have no problem saying "NO" to anyone who wants to achieve personal, tycoon benefit at the expense of Budva, and over the backs of its honest citizens. Such persons, whether they belong to former or current criminal structures, will be permanently prohibited from entering the Budva municipality building.
I AM READY TO STOP POLITICAL CONFLICTS AND RECONCILE PEOPLE
Budva does not need political conflicts between candidates - Budva needs a decisive fight against privileged individuals and powerful people who have frozen our city's development. All citizens of Budva should feel welcome here, regardless of their origin and time of stay in Budva. Budva must be an unpleasant place only for tycoons, and from November 17 this will be the case.
THIS IS HOW WE Fought FOR A FAIR BUDVA
Our feet have stepped where no one else has. In the center of mafia nests, we defended the honor of our city and prevented election theft.
We broke through the cordons of Lazović, Veljović and Katnić even when others were not allowed to say their name.
IT IS NOT THE FAULT OF THOSE WE WON, BUT THOSE WHO BETRAYED
I can understand everything, my dear fellow citizens, but not those who announce cooperation with those who did all this to us.
That's why I invite you to let your vote go into safe hands, trust the team I lead - for an honest, just and strong Budva that will not bend its spine before anyone.
And finally, I give you my word that it won't, because Budva deserves better. It deserves changes. You will bring them.
