Dragana Kažanegra Stanišić, candidate for president of Budva municipality, sent an emotional message to the citizens about unity and coexistence in the city, stressing that Budva is a place that belongs to everyone who considers it their home.
"Dear fellow citizens, all those from Budva are those who regard our queen of the Mediterranean as their home," said Kažanegra Stanišić. She added that, as a resident of Paštrov, she felt the need to share part of her personal story, emphasizing that her family also represents the spirit of diversity that has always adorned Budva.
"My mother was not born in Budva," she continued, "she came here, met my father and started a family." Dragana added that her sister's husband comes from Beran, while her aunt, daughter-in-law, as well as many family members, also came from different regions. "They are all part of our family and important members of our society."

Kažanegra Stanišić reminded that Budva is not just a city of one nation or one region, but a city built by numerous civilizations over the millennia. "Budva is a city more than two and a half millennia old. It was not built only by the Paštrovići, nor only the people of Grbljani, nor only the Maini, nor the Brajići, nor the Pobori. It was created by all the citizens who came to live here".
She said that Budva is a place of coexistence, togetherness and diversity. "The multi-confessional and multicultural nature of Budva, which we have preserved for centuries, testify to our rich past," said Kažanegra Stanišić, adding that in Budva there is no place for divisions based on origin. "They are just an abuse of power that weakens us".
She also referred to the current situation in the city, noting that divisions have led to unprecedented scenes. "That is why, for the first time in the history of Budva, candidates for the mayor's office are walking around Budva with bodyguards," telling the citizens that Budva has always been and should remain a city of open doors, togetherness and trust.

What does it mean to be from Budva?
"All of us who live in Budva are from Budva, no matter where we come from," says Dragana Kažanegra Stanišić, adding that this city connected people and obliged them to fight together for a better tomorrow.
"We fought for Budva yesterday, we are fighting today and we will fight tomorrow, as long as we breathe," she said, emphasizing that a Budva citizen is not only someone who was born in this city, but someone who loves it, wishes for a better tomorrow, does not fear fellow citizens and does not disturb them with boasting, threats, arguments or private bodyguards.

Budvani, we are all one family, it's time to unite
Political leaders are entrusted by the people with the task of seeking solutions, not points of contention.
It is becoming more and more obvious to the people of Budva that what is happening is not normal - the atmosphere is poisoned to the extent that everyday tensions spill over into physical conflicts even in restaurants and on the streets.

Some holders of electoral lists, instead of reconciliation, unfortunately, introduce quarrels, street vocabulary and discord.
On November 17, the citizens of Budva have the opportunity to say "enough" to this atmosphere of division. That day can mark the return of normality, the day when Budva chooses peace and togetherness within its walls, leaving behind the time of conflicts and discord.
While others choose division, she chooses unity and honesty
Dragana Kažanegra Stanišić is the only candidate for municipal president who does not drag the tails of private interests and past relationships. Her vision is clear and bold: to bring peace to a city divided by conflicts and to return to Budva the principles of morality, honesty and true work for the common good.

In her Budva, there is no place for tycoons or for the powerful from the shadows. It clearly says - power will be decentralized, and every citizen will have a voice in decision-making. Kažanegra Stanišić is determined to lead Budva as a municipality for all its people, regardless of where they come from, ensuring that the interests of the city are a priority, far ahead of the interests of individuals.
Budva is a people's city, not a handful of powerful people
Today, we are witnessing how the public resources of Budva are being turned into private property. There are unidentified persons in the municipal building, while honest citizens are left aside and out of focus. These days, citizens can also witness the scenes of the holders of election lists moving around the city with two security guards each - and they ask themselves: "Is this the Budva we want to leave to our children?"

Budva definitely deserves a return of trust, investment in capital projects and the removal of divisive topics from the foreground. On November 17, change is clearly in the hands of the citizens of Budva!
Kažanegra Stanišić: That the powerful tremble, and the citizens live with dignity
Dear fellow citizens, I am a single woman. With arms wide open for all of you, but the door firmly closed for the tycoons and powerful people who built their success on the failure of Budva.

Such people will not have power in my cabinet, nor will they be allowed to shape the fate of this city. I give you my word, and you give me your vote - together we can win!
With a ballpoint pen and the number 5, let's choose honest Budva! Let's choose a future in which mine and yours - our children will stay here, in their home!
