Berane, as well as Montenegro as a whole, have been hostage to political divisions and inter-party intolerance for too long. Božo Premović has positioned himself as the President of the Municipality who is ready to listen and respect every citizen. The slogan of his campaign: "We preserve our roots, we build Berane!", is a strong message that emphasizes his commitment to the preservation of cultural and historical heritage. Premović points out that tradition is not only a value that should be preserved, but the foundation on which a new future is built. He sees Berane as a city of a big family, with generations of good people who always knew right from wrong. In his vision, Berane is a city of the future, where children deserve better education, modern infrastructure and opportunities for a dignified life.
WORK RESULTS WORTH OVER A MILLION EUROS
During his mandate at the head of the Secretariat for Agriculture of the Municipality of Berane, Premović achieved significant results, confirming himself as a responsible and capable staff. His commitment improved the agricultural sector and brought concrete benefits to the citizens of Beran, strengthening confidence in his capacities for even greater responsibilities.
Thanks to Premović, over €1.200.000 was invested in the agriculture sector!
The citizens of Beran and farmers were provided with breeding heads, seedlings, subsidies for harvesting, premiums for bee colonies, greenhouses, solar panels, and the International Fair of Agriculture, Food and Home Crafts was organized, which became a regional brand, and the New Year's Agricultural Bazaar was also successfully organized. as well as the successful manifestation "Harvest Days".
The payment of agricultural insurance and the payment of damages were also organized, and work was also done on the development of rural tourism and the selection of agricultural recorders.
These results are a confirmation of his dedicated work on the development of agriculture as a key sector in Berane.
THE ELECTION OF PREMOVICA RESOLVED LONG-TERM POLITICAL DISAGREEMENTS
With the election of Božo Premović as President of the Municipality of Berane on October 25, the period of political injustice caused by non-compliance with the Agreement on the Exercise of Power ended.
According to the original agreement, the government in Berane was supposed to function on the principle of rotation between the New Serbian Democracy and the Democrats. Accordingly, Vuk Todorović was elected as the President of the Municipality in 2021, and the rotation was to follow in 2023. However, individuals cheated on the agreement, refusing to support Damjan Ćulafić for the mayor of the municipality, thus undermining political stability and trust. The election of Premović represents not only a political solution, but also a moral message about the importance of consistency and responsibility.
Premović's election by the Board of Trustees ensured stability and gave him a mandate of four full years, enabling a focus on continuity of work and realization of development plans.
Premović's mandate brings optimism and hope for Berane. His platform is based on joint work, restoration of trust among citizens, good relations with people and representatives of political entities and establishment of a system that serves all generations.
