Wind Festival 2025, organized by the Delfin Sailing Club, continues this weekend in Tivat with a rich program dedicated to the sea, maritime heritage, and the cultural identity of the Bay of Kotor. The second festival weekend features four events under the thematic umbrella “Morska posla” (“Sea Affairs”), highlighting traditional crafts, nautical skills, and music inspired by life by the sea.

The weekend program begins on Friday, May 9, at 10 a.m. at the Tivat Museum and Gallery, with a professional workshop titled: “Opportunities for Creating a Nautical Cluster in the Bay of Kotor”.

The workshop will explore the potential for connecting maritime sector stakeholders and local craftsmanship, promoting sustainable sea-related tourism through a cluster-based approach.

Later that day, at 8 p.m., the same venue will host the opening of a collective photo exhibition by the Adriatic Artists association, titled “Morska posla”. This marks their third participation in the Wind Festival and their 12th collective showing. The exhibition will be displayed across two gallery levels and remain open to visitors until May 16.

On Saturday, May 10, the square in front of the Church of Saint Anthony in Tripovići will transform into an open-air stage for an evening of traditional Dalmatian singing. The program, titled “Klapa Music Night”, begins at 8 p.m. and is organized in cooperation with the Bokelj A Cappella Musicians' Association from Tivat.

Performing klapa groups include: Incanto, Camerton and Jadran.

The event will also offer a taste of local hospitality, with wine and traditional priganice (fried dough) served to guests.

The second festival weekend concludes on Sunday, May 11, with the return of the “Morska posla” Maritime Crafts and Skills Fair, held from 3 to 8 p.m. on the Pine waterfront promenade.

The fair brings together a wide array of participants from the maritime community – including sailors, divers, fishermen, and vendors offering everything from boat engines to nets and ropes. Local artisans inspired by the sea will also showcase their work. The event provides an excellent platform for discussing the preservation and advancement of maritime trades, recognized as a key economic opportunity for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in Tivat.

Delfin Sailing Club and its partners, including the Tivat Business Info Center, warmly invite residents, tourists, and maritime enthusiasts to take part in the program and experience the spirit of the Wind Festival.

All events are free and open to the public.
