In Bar, the event “Night of Fortresses” will once again be organized this year, on May 9th, featuring a performance by Filip Pat and his band.
According to the Municipality of Bar, on the Summer Stage of the Old Town, the fourth edition of the event will be opened by the Little Ecological Suite Chippollino at 7:30 PM, followed by the performance of Filip Pat.
It is stated that as part of the event, the exhibitions “Ariadne’s Thread” by Muharem Muratović and “In the Heart of the Olive” by Vladimir Ilićković will be opened.
The exhibitions, as announced, will be opened at 3:00 PM in the Archiepiscopal Palace and will be available for viewing over the next seven days.
“To ensure that the youngest visitors enjoy the ‘Night of Fortresses’ to the fullest, the Atelier ‘Dalijas’ will organize a workshop titled ‘Green Artistic Creation’ on May 9th from 4 to 7 PM, on the plateau in front of the Archiepiscopal Palace and at the Gavodolla Bastion,” the statement says.
The Municipality emphasized that entrance to the Old Town of Bar will be free of charge during the event.
As stated, the event “Night of Fortresses” is funded by the European Union within the framework of the GIFTSnet project and the Interreg Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro 2021–2027 program.
It is added that the GIFTSnet Project is implemented by the Municipality of Bar in partnership with Fortress of Culture Šibenik, the cities of Karlovac and Banja Luka, the Municipality of Ulcinj, and the Herzegovina Museum in Trebinje.
“Launched in Croatia, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Night of Fortresses Goes Green today also brings together sites in Slovenia, Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia, Ukraine, and for the first time this year, Italy has joined as well,” the statement concludes.
