Spain will win the 2026 World Cup according to ESPN's computer analysis.
ESPN has predicted the outcome of the upcoming 2026 World Cup using analytics lab DTAI. Using a special computer model, ESPN predicted that Spain would beat Argentina 2-1 in the tournament final.
According to calculations, Spain will take first place in Group H, with victories over Uruguay (2:1), Saudi Arabia (3:0) and Cape Verde (5:0), earning nine points.
Argentina, with seven points, will be first in Group J, with Austria (2:2), Algeria (1:0) and Jordan (3:0).
In the round of 16, Spain would defeat Austria (3:1), while Argentina defeated Uruguay (1:0).
In the round of 16, Spain beat Croatia (3:1), while Argentina is scheduled to win over Turkey (1:0).
In the quarterfinals, Spain defeated the host United States (2:0), and Argentina defeated Colombia (1:0).
In the semi-finals, the Spanish beat France on penalties, while Argentina defeated Norway (2:1).
According to ESPN, England will be eliminated in the quarterfinals by Norway (0:1), Germany will lose to France in the round of 16 (1:2), and Brazil will end their run in the round of 16, losing to Japan on penalties.
Portugal, with three points in Group K, which includes Colombia, Uzbekistan and the Democratic Republic of Congo, will not make the playoffs.
