The leaders of the Democratic Front, Andrija Mandić and Milan Knežević, tried to travel to Strasbourg without passports from the Podgorica Airport.
They were told at the airport that it was not possible.
Mandić and Knežević were supposed to go to the session of the Parliamentary Committee of the European Union and Montenegro for Stabilization and Association, which is held on November 14 and 15.
Mandic said to condemn "this kind of behavior of the Montenegrin regime".
"We know that behind these decisions of the judiciary are a couple of people at the head of the Montenegrin regime who also have quite a lot of documentation on criminal activities from people from the judiciary, and everyone is holding everyone back, blackmailing each other, and everything is broken through the citizens of Montenegro and through their political representatives "Knežević and I are today in favor of, unlike Saša Sinđelić, a convicted murderer who was able to cross here freely without any control, we were not allowed to board the flight and do the work for which we were elected to the Parliament of Montenegro," he said. Mandic.
The High Court in Podgorica recently confiscated their passports for the second time at the request of the Special Prosecutor's Office.
Knežević said that "a clear message has been sent that the regime, in cooperation with the High Court and SDT, is afraid of our international activities".
"We have no choice but to send an invitation to Milivoj Katnić to help us for the next trips, since he requested that our passports be confiscated, and make road maps of how to leave the airport in Moscow, Podgorica and how to leave the airport in Belgrade without no passport controls, because obviously Milivoje Katnić knows the best of those secret paths that Saša Sinđelić was on," said Knežević.
