Water shut-offs for several hours in several suburban settlements in Kolašin will continue in the coming days. In the company "Vodovod i kanalizacija" they explained that the lack of water is caused, first of all, by a long dry period and that regular water supply for all users can only be established after heavy rainfall.
"Depending on the situation on the ground, we will know how the restrictions will be continued. We appeal to consumers to use water rationally and reduce consumption," said the company.
Suburban settlements suffer the most from water shortages, while regular water supply is provided in the city center. In the afternoon and night hours, the villages of Gornji Pažanj, Bakovići, Drijenak, Biočinoviće, Smajlagića Polje and Dulovine are alternately without water.
Although "Vodovod" regularly informs about the dates of water restrictions, residents in those settlements claim that the authorities do not comply with the disconnection plan. For now, shutdowns are scheduled from 16:24 p.m. to midnight, that is, from 00:21 p.m. to 30:6 a.m.
The Democrats' councilor club asked the executive to answer the question why "in the city of water, as they call Kolašin because of the four water bottling factories, it is necessary to deny a part of the consumers a regular supply every autumn".
