The company Uniprom metals donated 2.500 euros for the purchase of furniture for the kindergarten located in Zagrad, in Nikšić Župa, as well as for the purchase of radiators, while the local community donated three radiators.
"The "Dušan Bojović" school rented space in the building of the regional department in Zagrad for free", said the director of the "Dragan Kovačević" PU, Radmila Backović.
The kindergarten in Zagrad, which functions as part of the "Mačak" kindergarten in Miolje Polje, was opened last year and 16 children are enrolled in it.
"Given that every day we hear information from rural areas that large hundred-year-old schools are closing because there are no students in them, the opening of a kindergarten in Zagrad is a pleasure because this place will continue to live in the future. We, as a local community, have to do with some activities like this we are improving the living conditions, especially of the youngest population, and that will be our priority in the future," promised the President of MZ Župa, Dragoljub Radulović.
Miljan Radović, representative of the school "Dušan Bojović" from Župa, said that this educational institution bought four new wood-burning stoves for the regional department in Zagrad, while the fuel was provided by the Ministry of Education, and that the parents painted the school.
