The Ambassador of the United States of America, Judy Rising Reinke, recently took the oath at the State Department, and before her arrival in Montenegro, she sent a video message in which she points out that she is honored to be the new American ambassador to Montenegro.
"Public service is a tradition in my family. My mother was a nurse and my grandfather, father and uncles and brother all served in the US Army. I found my path to public service as a career diplomat and I am proud to be the first a woman from the Ministry of Trade who was appointed ambassador. The first missions I worked in were in Europe and I am especially inspired that Montenegro is emerging as a regional leader of peace and stability in the Western Balkans. Your historic accession to NATO has strengthened our friendship as an ally and I promise to lead my team at the American Embassy in Podgorica to continue supporting Montenegro in its efforts to join the European Union," said Rejing Reinke.
He points out that he believes that Montenegro is full of potential.
"As your country works to strengthen the rule of law, I know that Montenegro will grow and prosper, and this is certainly beneficial for both of our countries. I look forward to learning more about Montenegrin culture, history and traditions, and seeing with my own eyes the natural the beauty of your country. I'm excited to share this adventure with the two most important people in my life, my husband Edvina and daughter Katherine. I can't wait to come to Montenegro and start working, see you soon," said Rajing Rajnke.
Montenegrin Ambassador to the USA Nebojsa Kaluđerović attended the swearing-in ceremony of Rising Rajnka at the State Department.
