MIDT will seek two-way cash flow from day one
When it comes to paperwork, as Dejan Abazović from MIDT said earlier, Montenegro completed all formalities at the beginning of the year and since then there is no obstacle for domestic users in terms of approving any PayPal service.
However, it has been announced on several occasions that Montenegrin users will be denied the possibility of two-way money movement in the beginning, precisely because they are included in the package with Macedonia and Serbia, which in the initial phase will not be able to use payment services for citizens. Thus, users in Montenegro should, at the moment of joining PayPal, as well as Serbia and Macedonia, only receive the option of paying abroad.
Users from Montenegro have been using the fact that the countries of the region are accepted in PayPal for a long time, so they open accounts stating that they are from Slovenia, Croatia...
Abazović, however, said today that he will remain persistent in MIDT until the end in his efforts to ensure that users from Montenegro, from the first day of membership in PayPal, get the possibility to pay from their PayPal accounts, but also to receive money to their PayPal accounts.
