Although it is known that the company Microsoft bought Skype, the whole process is still not finished, writes the website neovins.
In the meantime, the Internet company Skype fired several workers from key positions.
The unnamed source said three company vice presidents, a marketing director, a human resources manager and a general sales manager were fired.
"Skype, like any other pragmatic organization, constantly checks its people in order to be able to offer the best on the market. Therefore, changes in the management team were now necessary," said the source.
At the moment, the severance pay that Skype will give the workers is much less than what they would have received if the process with Microsoft had been completed.
Microsoft plans to integrate Skype into a number of projects, including the Xbox360.
A few days ago, the Federal Trade Commission approved Microsoft's purchase of Skype.
The process will be over in a couple of days.
