The largest social network Facebook and the Internet search engine Google are considering a connection with the Internet telephony provider Skype. Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is interested in buying Skype, the value of which is estimated at 3 to 4 billion US dollars, reports Reuters citing unnamed sources. His sources claim and that Facebook and Google are negotiating a joint venture with Skype. Reuters reports that an initial public offering of shares and their listing on the stock exchange is another possibility for Skype. Analysts estimate that Skype would raise up to one billion dollars in fresh capital through an IPO.
