Google launched 3D Body Browser, an application that allows the user to explore the human body.
The program, it is assumed, could improve our understanding of the human body and accelerate medical research.
The application enables navigation through different layers of the body, from clothed, through muscles, to organs. 3D Body Browser enables enlargement of parts of the body that the user wants to view, and by clicking on them, a text is obtained that describes what the user is looking at.
Thanks to the search engine, the user can enter the name of any body part they want to see. The disadvantage is that the names are professional, but the search can facilitate the ability to choose from a drop-down list of terms offered.
3D Body Browser requires Firefox 4.0 Beta or Google Chrome Beta web browser.
Currently, only the women's model is available, and the company announces that it will soon be available for men as well.
