The world giant of online sales, the American Amazon, is investigating whether the company's employees sell confidential data to other companies, especially in China, the Wall Street Journal reported today.
According to the newspaper, Amazon employees sold internal data and other confidential information through intermediaries to merchants who sell their products on the site of the American giant. On the Amazon website, you can buy products sold directly by Amazon, as well as items from other retailers. Such a practice is widespread in China, the newspaper said, adding that Amazon has been conducting an internal investigation for months. Amazon employs about 560.000 people worldwide.
