Chemical expert Ljudmila Ivanović said that the presence of particles produced during the firing of projectiles was not proven on the hands of the defendants.

She stated this at the trial of Dejan R. Pavićević and Miloš V. Trb, accused of selling drugs, creating a criminal organization and murdering Dalibor Đurić in ZIKS.

Ivanovic added that the subject of the expert examination was the T-shirt and upper part of the tracksuit of the late Đurić, on which damage was found, and that the presence of gunpowder particles was not proven.

She explained that gunpowder particles can best be detected four hours after the event, but that they can be removed by washing hands and clothing.

Chemical expert Nikola Božović stated that the presence of gasoline on the "burnt material" was proven.

He added that that piece reminded him of the lower part of the car floor mat, but that the court should accept it with a reservation. He explained that the shorts were delivered to the Forensic Center in Danilovgrad for expert examination, but that he did not examine them, because they were packed in proper packaging.

"When it is not well packed, then the expert opinion gives me a dubious result and I can lead the court to the wrong conclusion", explained Božović.

Expert trasologist Goran Dendić said that a rubber hammer used in ceramic craft work was found in the burning Škoda Octavia car.

He added that the rear window was broken before the car was set on fire. A footprint originating from a boot was found on the banks of the Zeta River, the expert said and explained that he would later submit the findings to the court.

The trial continues on September 19.
