The Podgorica police filed a criminal complaint against DR (34) on the suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of failure to comply with health regulations for the suppression of a dangerous infectious disease, the Police Administration announced.
"Last night in Podgorica, about 1.800 citizens gathered on the plateau in front of the Cathedral of Christ's Resurrection, after which they started walking through the streets of the capital city. As the organizer of this public gathering, the police identified DR (34), from whom information on these circumstances was collected. Against DR "a criminal complaint was filed due to the suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of failure to comply with health regulations for the suppression of a dangerous infectious disease," the statement of the Police Administration points out.
The announcement adds that the Podgorica police are taking further measures and actions to identify other persons who took part in this public gathering in which about 1.800 people participated, which is against the order of the Ministry of Health.
The Police Administration said that the Danilovgrad police filed a criminal complaint against IS (40) and ML (22) on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of not complying with health regulations for the suppression of a dangerous infectious disease.
"IS and ML organized a public gathering on August 26, during which the measures of the Ministry of Health were not respected," said the Police Administration.
Also, in Danilovgrad, the police filed a request to initiate misdemeanor proceedings and arrested AM (19) and BM (25) for, as reported, offenses under the Law on Public Order and Peace.
"They lit torches in a public place, during a public gathering on August 26, in which they violated public order and the safety of citizens. Further measures and actions are being taken to identify another person who also committed this offense, who will be prosecuted ", they said from the Police Administration.
The announcement also states that the police in Danilovgrad will file a criminal complaint against ZV (33) for organizing a public gathering in that city on August 27, in which about 270 people participated, which is against the order of the Ministry of Health.
"In this way, as is suspected, ZV committed the criminal offense of non-compliance with health regulations for the suppression of a dangerous infectious disease," concludes the statement of the Police Administration.
