The company RAI-M from Nikšić has been operating for 16 years, setting high demands on its organization, and safety and timely execution of all assumed obligations are priorities in relations with customers.
They are recognized for the retail and wholesale sales of blinds and interior doors, which they have equipped more than 300 construction facilities throughout Montenegro, and since a year ago they have also been engaged in the production of bushings - electrical installation pipes used in construction.
Although he is a second-year student at the Faculty of Economics in Podgorica, the son of Rai-M company owner Aleksandar Ivanović, as the eldest of three children, is most involved in the company's work. He is satisfied that his father respects his advice and wishes when it comes to the business of the company, so they work together on plans for the development of the company. He says that in the coming period, in addition to Nikšić, he will expand retail to several other cities.
Ivanovic says that he is still not competent to run a business due to his obligations at the university, but that he is present in the company whenever possible.
Until 2012, the company RAI-M dealt exclusively with wholesale trade.
"We were engaged in wholesaling and we realized that a large number of consumers need our products in smaller quantities. Earlier, it was investors and larger retailers, but over time we recognized that smaller consumers are also looking for the same products," says Ivanovic.
RAI-M offers the following products through retail and wholesale: antenna equipment, supports for televisions and equipment, lighting, cables, room and blind/security doors, ceramics, laminates, tarkets, parquets, decoration.
"This company mainly exports products to neighboring countries. Timeliness and stability in business win the trust of customers", believes Ivanović. They are especially proud of the production of bushings with which they completed the range of electrical materials. They are satisfied with the sale of this product on the domestic market, but also in neighboring countries.
Rai-Ma draws attention to the fact that the coronavirus epidemic caused significant financial damage, so sales are 30 percent lower than last year.
"The efficiency of the physical and, therefore, the technological sector in the company has decreased. We are overcoming the crisis by intensifying economic propaganda and pointing out the importance of our products and services. We provide the necessary capital, which is currently unavailable due to the consequences of the pandemic, by borrowing Ivanovic said.
Speaking about future plans, Ivanovic said that the coronavirus pandemic dictates that plans become short-term, stabilizing, but also profitable, and that their main goal is to maintain stability in sales and production.
He pointed out that NLB Bank's assistance to the company RAI-M within the framework of the Assistance Framework project is immeasurable and says that they are honored with support that will surely bring long-term financial effects.
