The government's decision to ban four Serbian intellectuals, including writer Matija Bećković, from entering Montenegro achieved the exact opposite goal, independent MP Neđeljko Rudović said. "Matija and the team today set foot in every house in Montenegro. And with those who can carry their desire, and with others who glorify them. This is how one decision achieves a completely opposite goal," Rudović stated on his Facebook account. According to him, someone for reasons known to him, often out of sheer hatred, denies and downplays the history and culture of Montenegro wherever he goes. "But the one who wants Montenegro to be stronger does not forbid those people from entering Montenegro. This creates the impression that four people, whoever they are, can undermine an entire country," says Rudović. As he stated, if Montenegro was a country where order is known and where everyone who wants to progress has the same chances, Bećković would have no supporters. "This kind of government produces various Matthias and inadjis. Now they don't give them to Montenegro, and it wouldn't be a miracle if they give them the highest state award again. Both benefit, and everyone loses, whatever nations they are, who would like to live normally," concluded Rudović.
