Last year, the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (MPNI) provided computer equipment for all schools in Montenegro worth 6.337.214 euros.
The government department said that the purchase included 4.575 computers, 1.133 laptops, 1.806 televisions, 516 projectors and 445 printers.
"In this way, 210 computer classrooms and 2.020 cabinets in all educational institutions in Montenegro have been equipped," the announcement says.
It is added that 580 offices in the administrations of 205 primary and secondary schools in Montenegro have been equipped with computer equipment, for which an additional 500 thousand euros have been allocated.

"Additionally, in cooperation with the UNICEF representative office in Montenegro, 221 tablet devices for working with children with developmental disabilities were provided for all preschool institutions," said the MPNI.
They stated that this year the department will continue to work intensively on providing adequate computer equipment for all educational institutions in Montenegro.
"So we will soon be expected to sign a contract on a non-refundable grant worth two million euros with the European Investment Bank, which will also be used for the purchase of computers and computer equipment for all schools in Montenegro," the announcement says.
