The European Union (EU) has paid Montenegro almost 27 million euros from the Growth Plan.
Prime Minister Milojko Spajić said this on the social network "Iks".
"The EU has just paid Montenegro almost 27 million euros from the Growth Plan! This recognizes the value of the reform agenda that the Government of Montenegro put forward last year," said the Prime Minister.
As he added, the total amount of 383 million euros that Montenegro will gradually receive over the next two years will be directed towards the implementation of comprehensive reforms that bring concrete benefits to citizens.
"We are building 12 new kindergartens, 11 primary schools and two student dormitories. We are investing in inclusive education and the development of new skills. We are getting more energy from renewable sources. We are strengthening the budget and expanding social services. We are introducing new digital services and shortening lines at counters. We are establishing better control of public procurement and strengthening the fight against the shadow economy," he said at Iks.
