Podgorica: Planting campaigns in Zlatica and Ćemovsko polje

The non-governmental organization (NGO) Green Home will organize two planting campaigns on the territory of the capital tomorrow and on Friday.

As announced by that NGO, the planting action will be organized in cooperation with the Forestry Administration, the Directorate for Emergency Situations, the Capital City Protection Service, Montenomax and the company Zelenilo, tomorrow in the forest park in Zlatica, and on Friday in Ćemovsko polje.

Green Home said that their volunteers, representatives of the NGO Off Road Adventures Montenegro, volunteer clubs of Crnogorski Telekom, Gymnasium "Slobodan Škerović", high schools "Marko Radević" and "Sergije Stanić", as well as children from kindergartens, will join the actions. Dobra Vila" and "Mondo creativo".

At Green House, they believe that the organization of these actions is necessary, taking into account the numerous pressures faced by those two park forests, such as illegal logging and fire damage.

"And all with the aim of improving the situation and encouraging other organizations and socially responsible companies to implement similar environmental actions," the announcement says.

330 black pine seedlings are planned to be planted in the park forest on Zlatica, while 600 seedlings will be planted in the park forest on Ćemovsko polje.
