About thirty members of the Protection and Rescue Service of the Municipality of Tivat, the voluntary fire brigades "Krtoli" and "Luštica", and the Porto Montenegro marina, held a large-scale exercise, theoretical and practical training in firefighting interventions on vessels and facilities on the coastal edge.
The exercise was held in a part of the former Petrovići military complex on the northern coast of the Lušptica peninsula in Tivat Bay.
In addition to the usual firefighting vehicles and prema, the special firefighting and rescue ship "navar 1025 FB" was also used for this occasion.
Head of SZS Tivat, Zoran Barbič, said that this is the final in a series of preparatory activities undertaken in the past months in order to be ready for the peak summer tourist and fire season.
