Next Monday (November 12), it will be possible to register addresses on the Internet with the ending .ME in Cyrillic, as well as using Chinese and Arabic symbols, announced the company Domen, which manages the Montenegrin internet label.

Registration of internationalized Internet addresses starts at 10.00:XNUMX a.m. CET.

In this way, according to Domain, the use of the following languages and scripts in Internet addresses will be supported in the ME zone: Arabic, Belarusian, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Chinese (traditional and simplified), Croatian, Danish, Finnish, French, German, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Italian, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Macedonian, Montenegrin (Latin and Cyrillic), Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Serbian (Latin and Cyrillic), Spanish, Swedish, Turkish and Ukrainian.

Domains can be registered for a period of one to 10 years, on a first-come, first-served basis, with registrars, i.e. companies accredited for the .ME domain or their resellers.

The list of accredited registrars is available on the website of the Domen company, domain.me.

The domain enabled the registration of internationalized Internet addresses on the occasion of 10 years since the Government chose that company as the agent of the .ME domain.
