NASA has released a fantastic composite photo of Earth and the Moon as seen from Mars.
The image is actually a composite of photos taken on November 20 courtesy of NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter.
At that moment, Mars was about 205 million kilometers from Earth.
The photos were brightened to make the Moon visible, since it was much darker than Earth in the original version.
The picture shows Australia, Southeast Asia and Antarctica.
