Volkswagen has unveiled the ID.Every1 concept model, which is close to series production - with a price tag of 20.000 euros, this will be a German electric car developed and produced by Europe for Europe...
The design is done in a mild retro style, while the interior, which offers space for four passengers, is extremely modern and is dominated by a large multimedia system screen.

At 3.880 millimeters long, the new model is larger than the Up (3.500 mm), which gives it an interior space that is on par with the Polo (4074 mm). Volkswagen says the boot capacity is 305 liters, reports automagazin.rs.

The production car will be based on the MEB platform, with front-wheel drive. The electric motor has a power of 70 kW, and the car will reach a maximum speed of 130 km/h. The Germans have not disclosed the battery capacity, but a range of about 250 kilometers is expected.

Automagazin.rs writes that this will be the first Volkswagen model to work with the American start-up Rivian on software development. The Germans bought a 16 percent stake in Rivian last year and then founded a joint software development company. The car will use a completely new powerful software architecture.

The start of serial production is announced for 2027.
