Thieves broke the door of the cabinet used by the Minister of Defense Milica Pejanović Đurišić at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
She confirmed this information to "Vijesti" last night, announcing that she does not know if anything was stolen from cabinet 338.
She said that she did not want to enter the raided office, but left the work to the police.
"It is very unusual, because it has never happened there. I did not enter the office, because I know the procedure very well. I left it to the competent authorities to determine the details," said Pejanović Đurišić.
The Minister of Defense said that she did not know what someone was looking for in her office and whether they were interested in the data from her computer.
"They must have been interested in my scientific papers," she said wryly.
The "Vijesti" source claims that the military intelligence service is conducting the investigation alongside the police, and that experts are checking whether someone used her computer without authorization.
The head of the military intelligence service, Goran Poleksić, did not want to confirm or deny this information last night: "I have no comment," he said.
Pejanović Đurišić said that only inspectors from the Police Administration were present at the investigation.
From that institution, they unofficially said that the criminal police conducted an investigation and that Pejanović Đurišić told them that nothing was stolen.
She denied it: "That is still being determined."
Pejanović Đurišić is a full-time professor on the subjects of digital telecommunications and mobile radio communication.
