Judge Rade Ćetković will ask the Ministry of Internal Affairs for information on the location of the documentation on the recordings from the Podgorica Security Center, in the proceedings in which Braslav Borozan was accused of attacking three policemen in the police station in October 2015 and slightly injuring them.
Because of this, Borozan's trial was postponed to April 24.
The hearings in that procedure are postponed for more than a year, because the expert cannot make a finding and determine whether the cameras were working in the offices and corridor of the Security Center and whether the MUP provided accurate information about the compliance of video surveillance with real time.
The defender of Borozan, lawyer Dalibor Tomović, said that it is unusual that for more than a year, the police have refused to provide documentation on the functioning of the video surveillance system in the Podgorica station in various ways.
According to the report of the doctor and the medical expert, Borozan then suffered serious physical injuries in the form of bruises on his face, body and knee injuries.
The Prosecutor's Office processed the policemen's criminal complaint in 20 days, while even after three years it did not decide on the criminal complaint filed by Borozan against the Podgorica police officer, claiming that he was abused in the police station in October 2015.
That's why lawyer Tomović, on his behalf, filed a constitutional complaint for torture and torture, as well as failure to act on his criminal complaint.
