Vlatko Milatović (57) from Podgorica was sentenced to eight months in prison for two videos in which he threatened the President of the Republic of Croatia Milo Đukanović, Prime Minister Duško Marković, Chief Special Prosecutor Milivoj Katnić and Director of the Police Directorate Veselin Veljović.
Thus, the High Court confirmed the verdict of Podgorica Basic Court judge Nada Rabrenović. He was tried for assaulting an official in the performance of his official duties, for which a prison sentence of six months to five years was threatened.
Milatović was arrested at the end of September last year, after the videos were published on social networks.
The Prosecutor's Office initially suspected him of the criminal offense of endangering security, however, in the meantime, it gave up and accused him of assaulting an official.
In one video, Milatović claims, among other things, that he is a hired killer and, with curses and insults, asks Veljović and Katnić to release the accused for criminal association Ranko Radulović, Erogen Brajović and Igor Vukotić.
"A silencer or a sniper will work for you", is one of the threats that Milatović sent to Veljović. In the second video, Milatović takes out a knife which he waves around him and threatens to "take out both eyes" of Đukanović.
"If five million euros don't land in my bank account, I'll take your brother and son Blaž... Nobody will help you. I'm going to slaughter you," said Milatović.
He was previously known to the police for criminal acts of theft, violent behavior, drug smuggling...
