DK was sentenced by the first-instance verdict to 17 years in prison for pimping and raping a twelve-year-old stepdaughter, while his unmarried wife and mother of the girl RM was sentenced to 15 years in prison for pimping and aiding the rape.
The verdict was pronounced by judge Ana Vuković at the High Court in Podgorica.
The court issued a decision extending the detention of RM, the mother of the girl who pimped her daughter in exchange for certain sums of money.
DK was arrested on March 17, 2017, after the girl reported to the police that she was a rape victim.
In the investigation, the phone of the girl's mother was checked, in which it was established that she contracted the provision of sexual services for money, after which she was arrested.
According to the decision of the Appellate Court on the extension of custody, DK is charged with human trafficking, rape and attempted rape, while RM is charged with human trafficking and aiding and abetting the crime of rape and attempted rape.
