A member of the criminal organization, Alan Kožar, whose identity is known to the "Vijesti" newsroom, was shot with a weapon that the police recently found in a burning car near Ulcinj.
This information was unofficially confirmed to "Vijesta" from several sources close to the investigation of the case at Ada Bojana.
According to this information, the attacker came to a parked car on the other side of the island, where a sniper weapon was waiting for him.
The interlocutor of "Vijesti" claims that the investigation established that this person then fired a shot from an automatic weapon with a sniper, but that he missed the target, which at that moment was located in front of one of the houses on Bojana, which allegedly belongs to Kožar...
After that, the same source claims, he put the weapon in a parked Renault Megane and set it all on fire.
Another "Vijesti" source claims that the car was stolen in Serbia, and that the Ulcinj license plates that were on it were also stolen.
The day before yesterday, the Police Administration officially informed "Vijesta" that forensic experts are still examining the sniper and the scorpion, which were found in a burning vehicle on Ada Bojana on August 2.
They stated that even before the weapon was found, the police had not registered any criminal offense, for the execution of which the perpetrators could have used the found rifles.
"The firearm that was found in the burning vehicle was sent for expert examination, as well as other objects and traces removed from the scene during the investigation. On the day when the vehicle was set on fire and on the days preceding it, no criminal offense was registered that could be connected to the use of the weapon that was found in the burning vehicle", states the police's response to "Vijesta".
They announced that they are taking all measures and actions to establish all the facts:
"Among other things, in the direction of determining whether the weapon that was found in the burning vehicle was used during the commission of a criminal offense in an earlier period or was planned to be used in the commission of a criminal offense."
The Police Administration, however, did not answer whether the burning vehicle was stolen and, if so, whether the owner was found and the time of theft determined.
They claim that "in order to smoothly implement further measures and actions" they cannot disclose such information at this moment.
The Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Ulcinj announced that, in cooperation with the police, they are collecting information from citizens who may have information about the circumstances of the commission of a criminal offense:
"Of which citizens, those who may have relevant information will be heard as witnesses. "Whether a criminal offense was committed with the found weapon, and whether a shot was fired from the found vehicle, will be determined by appropriate expert reports, for which purpose the orders have already been issued," says the answers from the prosecution.
The trial of Kožar and Dinić, who Baranin, as written in the indictment, hired to kill the now deceased Slobodan Šaranović recently began in the Podgorica High Court.
Kožar is being tried in absentia, and Dinić denied guilt at the trial and said that he did not know Kožar and that he had never communicated with him.
