The Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor will investigate whether the arrested building inspectors Vladan Juretić and Zoran Bošković tried to extort money from the company Adria bau, it was reported unofficially to Vijest.

"Vijesti" sources claim that the founder and executive director of that company filed a report with the Special State Prosecutor's Office against unknown persons, accusing them of extortion in an organized manner.

In the application, however, those building inspectors are not mentioned by name, but the interlocutor of Vijesti claims that they are "drawn" in that document.

That company was allegedly building a facility in Krašići.

The legal representative of the applicant, lawyer Tatjana Pavlić, said that she expects the prosecution to determine if there is, and if there is, whose responsibility it is and for which crime.

"The application was submitted to the Special State Prosecutor's Office, from which it was forwarded to the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Kotor. One of the founders and executive director of the company 'Adria bau' gave a statement in front of the prosecutor, I think one witness was also heard. In the report, no person was designated as the perpetrator of the criminal act, but it was submitted against the unknown perpetrator. From the collected evidence and the description of the crime, the prosecution will assess whether it exists and, if so, whose responsibility it is," lawyer Pavličić told "Vijesta".

She said that she did not want to bid with the number that her clients requested, but also with the names of the applicants: "Because her clients submitted the application against an unknown person".

Last Thursday, the editor of the show "Načisto" Petar Komnenić and his guest, lawyer Nikola Kavedžić, the legal representative of the investor Boško Nenezić, who reported racketeering to the inspector, mentioned the company that filed the criminal complaint.

"Today, by chance, I met the representative and owner of that company from Bar, who told me that Vladan Juretić came to him at the construction site and asked him for 200.000 euros. The gentleman has a plot of land and a building in Krašići, and Vladan Juretić asked him for 200.000 euros, no less, no more. He didn't give him anything, he filed a criminal complaint," Kavedžić said in a guest appearance on Television Vijesti.

The investigation has begun

Bošković and Juretić were arrested on Friday evening, a day after an exclusive recording of a conversation between them and the investor Nenezić was broadcast on Television Vijesti, during which a businessman in a catering facility allegedly handed over 5.000 euros to a MORT official in order to allow him to continue construction on the facility despite expired permit.

On the same day, the line minister Pavle Radulović suspended them and a few hours later resigned...

Yesterday, the Higher State Prosecutor's Office replied to "Vijesta" that they issued an order to conduct an investigation against Juretic and Bošković:

"With the proposal to order detention against the defendants VJ and ZB, for the criminal offense of receiving a bribe, in which case two cases were combined", explained the spokeswoman of the Higher State Prosecutor's Office, prosecutor Lepa Medenica.

After being heard by the investigating judge, Juretić and Bošković were remanded in custody for up to 30 days last night, confirmed the spokeswoman of the High Court, Aida Muzurović. This was done because of the danger of running away.

The Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor replied to "Vijesti" that they transferred the case, which was formed following the application of investor Nenezić, to the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica. From that prosecutor's office, they unofficially explained that they handed over another case against Juretic and Bošković to their colleagues in Podgorica.

Prime Minister's criticism in the complaint bin

Prime Minister Duško Marković's harsh criticism of the prosecution's work in the MORT corruption case was submitted to the Complaints Commission of the Prosecutorial Council.

This was decided by the President of the Prosecutor's Council, Ivica Stanković, that body announced. "The Prime Minister's letter was submitted to the Complaints Commission of the Prosecutor's Council, as it appears from the content of the document that it is a complaint about the work of individual state prosecutors from the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor and the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica regarding the legality of their work.

The President of the Prosecutor's Council asked the President of the Complaints Commission to take immediate action to verify the allegations of the complaint in question, in order to make a decision on the said complaint as soon as possible at the session of the Prosecutor's Council", it was announced. Marković assessed that in that case the police did a good job, but that there was no effective reaction from the prosecution.

He is not an employee of the Directorate for Inspection Affairs

In the text related to Vladan Juretić's property record, "Vijesti" mistakenly announced on Saturday that the construction inspector is actually an employee of the Directorate for Inspection Affairs.

The information that Juretić works for the Administration is still on his property record, on the website of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.

"Space protection, construction and urban planning inspections are from 1.11.2017. within the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism, and Vladan Juretić left the Directorate for Inspection Affairs as an independent adviser, not as an inspector", said the Directorate.
