Police found marijuana in Nikšić and arrested two people, the Police Administration announced today.
"The police in the border area in the town of Vraćenovići found two PVC packages containing a green substance similar to the narcotic drug marijuana with a total net weight of about 1,5 kg, which was sent to the Danilovgrad Forensic Center for expert examination. It is suspected that the perpetrator of this crime is IM ( 36) from Danilovgrad, who was arrested on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and placing on the market of narcotic drugs and brought to the competent prosecutor with a criminal complaint," said the Police Directorate.
The announcement adds that during the search of the apartment and other rooms used by D.Ć. (36) from Nikšić, a digital scale for precise measurement was found and confiscated with traces of a green plant substance similar to marijuana, as well as the so-called "crusher" also with traces of marijuana, and five buprenorphine tablets.
"The competent state prosecutor was informed of the above, who declared about the qualification of the criminal offense. On his order, D.Ć. was arrested and charged with a criminal complaint, on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and placing on the market of narcotic drugs, brought to the competent to the prosecutor's office," concludes the statement of the Police Administration.
