The police investigation of the incident in which DM (16) from Tivat received minor injuries last night in Tivat, showed that there was no conflict between two groups of minors, but that the boy was injured by one of his friends.
According to the report that DM submitted to the Tivat police today in the presence of his parents, on Wednesday around 22.30:XNUMX p.m. he was at the playground near the slats behind the main Post Office building in Tivat, with other students TA, SM and MA, when allegedly a group of five passed by them - six minors whom he assumes are of Roma nationality.
The DM stated in the report that there was no conflict between them, but that a small wooden bat flew from the direction of that other group towards the young Tiv people, which hit him in the area of the right ear and caused lacerations to his earlobe.
DM was taken by his comrades to the emergency room in Tivat, where he was given first aid. The boy was then transferred to the Kotor hospital, where doctors sewed up his torn earlobe with five stitches and discharged him to home treatment.
"Through the investigation, we reliably established that there was no other group of juveniles who allegedly hit the injured offender with a bat, but that his friend MA, with whom he had a previous dispute, inflicted his injuries. They were scared of the consequences of hurting DM and arranged to tell their parents a made-up story about being allegedly targeted by some other boys. The prosecutor on duty at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor was informed about the case, who stated that there were no elements of a criminal offense in the actions of the MA that would be prosecuted on official duty because he caused the injury to his friend unintentionally. In any case, a misdemeanor charge will be filed against the MA," Tivat Head of OB Dragan Kontić told "Vijesta" tonight.
