Members of the criminal police for blood crimes, conducting proactive official activities, shed light on two serious crimes today - murder and attempted murder.
This was said today by the head of the Criminal Police Station for the Suppression of Blood Crimes, Srđan Korać.
Paljok Junčaj was deprived of his liberty, due to the suspicion that he killed the Albanian citizen Edmont Gjinkolaj (39) last night in Tuzi.
Vasko Gazivoda (37) from Podgorica was arrested on suspicion that he tried to take the life of Milan Popović with a knife in Konik.
Korać said that this morning they received a report that the lifeless body of an unknown man with a visible wound in the head area was found in the town of Milješ (Tuzi). The police investigation quickly showed that the death was due to violence.
"Police officers secured the scene, and based on all the evidence, there were grounds for suspicion that PJ committed the crime," Korać told the media.
He claims that with operational findings, they determined where the crime was committed (not far from the place where the body was found), and nearby they found a hidden weapon with which, they suspect, the crime was committed.
During the day, the police also received information about an attempted murder in Konik.
Although the suspect left the scene of the crime, Korać claims that by conducting official activities, the police managed to quickly locate the suspect and set him free.
A knife was found with the suspect "with which the injured MP inflicted injuries on the back".
He said that both persons confessed to the criminal acts they were charged with.
About thirty police officers participated in today's investigations
