Danilović condemned the arrest of Brković

United Montenegro announced that the police arrested Milivoj Brković early this morning.

The Police Administration announced earlier that Brković was arrested on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of inciting resistance.

Brković is the secretary of the Committee of the Capital City of United Montenegro.

"Milivoje is a young man to be proud of, not only for the United Montenegro but for everyone he represents in the most beautiful way these days. In contrast to the reckless behavior of those who arrested him, Milivoje publicly held a lesson in manners and courage day after day. What clearly hurt the top of the hardened police structure and the top of the executed government is certainly the way in which Milivoje fights for his rights, for the rights of his compatriots and all believing people in Montenegro," states the statement signed by United official Goran Danilović.

He also adds that young people rebelled.

"And the way Milivoje does it honors us, his friends, makes us proud and determined. In live broadcasts of his actions on his own profile, Milivoje shows how it's done, how courage and elegance go together. UCG stands behind it with all its political being every word that Milivoje has been sending on the air these days, teaching the ignorant what their job is. Arresting them will not achieve anything because Milivoje will certainly not scare, and neither will we who publicly call to oppose state power and arrogance like him - calmly, prudently, bravely, aware ourselves, our rights and the fact that Montenegro is our country, our sanctuary, our house. And we will never give up," Danilović stated, among other things, in the press release
