Vujošević joined the special police team: He claimed that Stanković was sending him to release the arrested

On August 23 last year, the former secretary of the Supreme State Prosecutor's Office, Nenad Vujošević, entered the premises of the special police team, said that he was coming on behalf of the Supreme Prosecutor Ivica Stanković, and was interested in whether there was a possibility of releasing a person who had been detained...

This is part of the special prosecutor's official note, which is cited in the decision extending Vujošević's detention.

The name of the suspect has not been disclosed, but it is probably Dejan Sekulić, the godfather of the accused Duško Knežević, who was arrested three days earlier.

Not long after that, Knežević released audio recordings of a series of conversations between him and Vujošević, during which the former prosecutor's office official says that he took money from the businessman from the warrant and handed it over to Stanković, in order to help Sekulić in the investigation.

In the same decision, it is stated that the day after the visit, Vujošević claimed in the office of the chief special prosecutor Milivoj Katnić that he was not sent by Stanković - but that he came on his own initiative to intervene.

Stanković denied taking the money and called on the authorities to investigate the case.

In early January, the Special State Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment against Knežević, Vujošević and three other employees of Atlas Bank for the criminal offense of creating a criminal organization and money laundering.

According to the data from the decision on the extension of custody, it can be concluded that the secret raid measures against Vujošević were carried out during the summer of 2018.

"The well-founded suspicion stems in particular from the conversation that the defendant Vujošević had with the defendant Duško Knežević on June 19, 6, in which he informed him that he had been in the Special Prosecutor's Office, that he had come into contact with certain persons acting in the e-commerce case, that he obtained certain information in that case and that he will get in touch with long-standing persons in connection with that case, and received instructions from the organizers of the criminal organization to continue with the execution of the criminal plan," the text states.

The Prosecutor's Office claims that Vujošević had been in regular communication with Knežević since the end of 2016, which was also confirmed to the investigators by a cooperating witness, Knežević's former driver Vlatko Rašović.

"From the testimony of Rašović's associate witness, it follows that on December 29, 12, the defendant Vujošević met Knežević at the 'Zija' hotel, who told Rašović to take photographs of Vujošević, which he did, that he ordered Rašović to prepare 2016 euros, put the money in an envelope and write 'E-comerc' on it and bring it to him at the hotel 'Zija', which Rašović did and took the money to Knežević, from which it is reasonably suspected that the money was given to Vujošević."

The decision also adds that Rašović told how since then Vujošević communicated regularly with Knežević, periodically visited his apartment near Gorica, but also used his apartments in Sveti Stefan and Bar.

After his arrest, Vujošević denied what he said during the recorded conversations - that he took a bribe for Stanković, then told the prosecutors that he was just misleading Knežević with that story and that he borrowed money from him because he needed it for treatment. It follows from the testimony of Rašović's associate witness that the defendant Vujošević... met in the hotel 'Zija' with Knežević, who told Rašović to take a photo of Vujošević, which he did, that he ordered Rašović to prepare 10.000 euros, put the money in an envelope and write 'E-comerc' on it and bring it to the hotel 'Zija', which Rašović did and took the money to Knežević, from which it is reasonably suspected that this money was given to Vujošević"...
