The Special State Prosecutor's Office confirmed to Vijesti Television that it had opened a case and that the investigation procedure was ongoing, after the MANS Investigation Center published data that led to the suspicion that the head of state, Milo Đukanović, was traveling on a government plane on December 29 last year. from Podgorica to Paris, and on January 10 from Paris to Podgorica.
Paris was most likely a stopover on his private trip to Miami.
MANS previously reported the president, Milo Đukanović, to the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption and the Special State Prosecutor's Office, due to the suspicion that he used the official plane of the Government of Montenegro for private purposes.
This non-governmental organization also reported Nataša Pešić, the Secretary General of the Government, for abuse of her state position, who, according to them, allowed Đukanović to use the official plane for private travel.
