Milivoj Brković, who was arrested for spreading false news about the presence of the coronavirus in Montenegro, was ordered to be detained for up to 30 days, TV Vijesti has learned.
Brković is suspected of spreading panic and disorder.
"The police detained a citizen who was suspected of spreading false news and thus causing public alarm," was announced earlier, after the arrest of Brković from the Police Administration.
Brković was arrested after he wrote on his Facebook profile that he had information that 13 citizens of Montenegro were infected with the coronavirus.
